The BlackNorth Initiative is a Toronto-based, non-profit organization founded by Canadian businessman and entrepreneur, Wes Hall, best known as the newest Dragon in the reality television series Dragon’s Den. Created to respond to the glaring inequalities across corporate Canada, its mission is to increase the representation of Black Canadians in boardrooms and executive suites across Canada.

In July 2020, The BlackNorth Initiative held their inaugural virtual summit—bringing powerful stories to life through combined live, pre-recorded and remote-live content.
